After Cru on Tuesday, Laura, Jennifer, Colette, Susie and I, all went to get some food at Wendy's. When we get there, there is this line of UMC volleyball girls. I thought to myself, "HEY! I know half of these girls!!!" (It was kinda weird for me!) So there we are waiting in line, feeling bad for the employees that had to serve the bossy, hungry volleyball girls! The two guys at the counter were some of the funniest men I have ever met! They were trying their best to not pick up the girls from their bushy hair and throw them across the room! (That's how annoying they were! and bossy too! one girl especially, she was freaking out about her fries taking 4 mins! "what a brat!") When we all finally get to the counter, the Two Awesome Black Guys, sighed with relief! They were so happy to have friendly customers that they spoiled us rotten with attention! When we all had are food (including the Dr. Pepper, a.k.a. Prune Juice...thats what they called it!) we all stuffed our faces! (cept jennifer). Jennifer and Susie got free frostys! Jennifer only ordered a water, but of course they felt bad for the beautiful, skinny model! (so they tried many ways to fatten her up! including the frosty and the chocolate milk when she just wanted a refill of water!) Oh Jen! She is too cute! While we were eating, we were still included in the employees conversations...we could hear them randomly start talking about the "sexy girls" in the back table.
The funniest part of the night, is when Laura, Colette, and I went up to the counter for a refill: on Laura's way back they said "Milk never did a body so good! and Shake that ass girl!...for Colette...well nothing! sorry hun but you dont got one! lol...and then for me, I was wearing my new pants with the shiny sparkles on the pockets, so they yelled "hey sparkles...no! Hey Light Brite!" oh gosh I dont think i ever turned that red!
At 5 to close, we decided to head out. They guys saw that we were leaving, and headed over to our table to say goodbye. One of them asked me if my butt glowed in the dark, and I said " I don't know." So the other guy yelled, "turn off the lights!" and so they did. And yes, my butt glowed! lol...finally we are heading out the door, and they make sure to tell us to come back again...and of course we answered "You'll see us all again next Tuesday!" With that, Milk shake butt, and Light Brite butt, and the other nameless butts, all went home with full tummies, and sideaches from the hilarious "Amazing Black Guys from Wendy's!"

Saturday Night:

Alright, here it goes: I was on my way to work, driving down Gateway. At the intersection of Gateway and North Washington, I was next to a car of four canadians. When the light changed, we were going the same speed. Because the weather was so nice out, I had the window rolled down. I was listening to some soft rock, when I hear "Jeff thinks you hott!!" So, I turned sideways to see where the noise came from, and it was the car of canadians! The boys in the back, had their faces against the window close to mine...kinda creepy if you ask me. (lol) I just kept driving and tried to ignore them, but then I look ahead and realize that we will be stuck at the same light together. (I was thinking how awkward) So there we are at the intersection, and they start talking to me again; the two girls in the front and the guys in the back. They asked me "how my day was," I said, "good." Then I ask them where their heading, and they said they needed some food...so I tell them that I am on my way to work at Cold Stone, and that Qudoba's next door is really great. They thank me, and then the light changes....I speed ahead of them and pass them so we wont have to talk anymore!

While at work, we were uber busy! More busy then we have been in a very long time! I was focused on helping customers, that I didnt realize that the same canadians that I met driving, came in. When I finally looked at the long line, i recognized their faces...I was definately weirded out! lol! I served them their ice cream, and then they left about 20 mins later....and while I'm thinking "whew! Their gone!"

When we finally closed up, I walked out to my car, only to find a yellow note in the door. I was curious at who would leave me a note...when I thought about the canadians! Here is what the note said: "Hi! Hope you had a good shift~ Thanx for the 'awesome' directions to your store. The ice cream was awesome. Thanx for being so friendly. From the crazy Canadians. P.S. ~ 1-204-345-5435 haha..." and on the front side it read "Party On!"

I dont think I have ever had a weirder Canadian experience then this...have any of you guys had anything similar or just as weird as this happen to ya? If so, let me know!

What to do with these feelings?

I never thought I would be able to experience them,

and now I fear I will be consumed by the very thought of them!

Freedom was mine, long ago...when I was in control and certain.

Life is now spinning faster and faster around me, confusing my mind, heart, and soul.

Will it ever stop?

When can I return to the blissful times of my youth; times which were filled with hope and promise.

The answer: uncertain...but I will not doubt!  Instead I will put my trust in one stronger then myself:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on you own understanding. In all your ways, awknowledge him, and He will make your path straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
